Oliver Lang, born in Hamburg Germany, is a German Canadian architect and urban entrepreneur, and the founder and director of LWPAC. He is a graduate of Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, with a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design. He holds a professional degree Diplom-Ingenieur Architektur from the University of Technology Berlin with 2 year studies at the ETSA Barcelona UPC. He is a licensed architect in British Columbia, New York USA and North Rhine-Westphalia Germany. He is leading LWPAC projects and technology innovation at LWPAC, and actively manages projects from initiation to completion. He has taught and researched for over 20 years on leading faculties of graduate schools in North America, South America and Europe with a focus on mixed-use urban housing, public architecture and emerging technologies and continuos to serve as a juror and advisor for Master’s level thesis projects and post professional research. He has served as Chair for the Urban Design Panels for the City of Vancouver and the University of BC.


 

Cynthia Wilson

Cynthia Wilson is a Canadian designer and cultural entrepreneur. She holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of British Columbia. She studied Art History at McGill University and participated in a 6 month Studies Abroad program at the ETSA in Barcelona.


As a principal of LWPAC, Cynthia has consistently advanced the idea of culture, community and broad engagement in all of LWPAC projects. The notion of connected living and empowering creativity is at the core of her role as a designer. Cindy uses her experience as an interior designer to give strong direction to all interior design aspects of LWPAC projects. She has broad knowledge beyond architecture in culture, arts, cities, literature and social endeavours such as the culinary arts. She uses her knowledge to facilitate broad based discussions and related design advancement beyond preconceived notions. Prior to co-founding LWPAC she worked internationally for Stankovic Architekten on the historic restoration of the House of Representatives project in Berlin and for Zeidler Partnership on the the Gran Almacen public conversion project in heart of Barcelona. In New York City she worked as an Interior Designer for renowned Anabelle Selldorf Architects and Larry Bogdanow Architects. She has taught advanced architectural design on the graduate level at UBC and continuos to serve as a juror and advisor for Master’s level thesis projects.
