Jeremy Sturgess is the Principal of Sturgess Architecture. With 30+ years experience as an architect, he has contributed to Canadian architecture at all levels. He attended the University of Toronto, attracted by its emphasis on the sociology of architecture, and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture in 1974. He has been recognized internationally for his work, which includes master plans, housing at all scales and buildings that consistently contribute to their environment. Most recently, he won the Future Projects - Competition category at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona (2011).
